The liker of things

If you are South African you will probably know what it means when someone says "oh you like things" and its context is a broad array of things. I am no ashamed to use this term on myself, for a lot of reasons. I do like things. Especially "cheap" things. Lets all just be honest here, life is KAK EXPENSIVE and most of us are just trying to survive things like our fuel price for example. The thing is why should we not be able to still enjoy life? There must be a way to live life and be thrift and frugal without shame.

I like specials, deals and bargains and I see no shame in that. I am all for shopping around for the best grocery specials. I am fortunate in the sense that where I stay in Parklands, Cape Town we have literally got it all. Checkers, Pick n Pay, Spar, Shoprite , Food lovers, Woolworth's, you name it we have it. I dont "waste petrol" to go after the specials because these are all close to me. When I share specials all over its because 1. I have access to all without wasting money on petrol getting to them but most importantly its because not everyone has all of them near by and I want to give everyone as many options as possible so they can go for the ones best suited to them and their needs and what is available to them.

My husband and I we LOVE food and our love language is cooking and eating and experiencing food together. It has always been this way for us. Our days are filled with us sharing clips or videos on new things to try cook and eat. Our weekends are filled with us making and trying and eating those things. It doesn't need to always be an expensive exercise though. We find things we can tweak or find ingredients on special. we make it work because we can be frugal and still enjoy life. My goal with my social media and my blog is to encourage others to do the same. LIVE!!! Enjoy life! without breaking the bank.

I never started any of my projects to "be an influencer" or "get lots of free stuff". I have always shared things I have paid for and recommended services or products because I love them or think they are worth he mention. I have never asked for anything to be sent to me for free either. I am a liker of things and I would never say no to nice things and free things, I am a broke South African housewife after all hahaha, but I have not and nor will I ever ask or expect it. I want to be as authentic and genuine as possible. My only goal in this is to be honest and known for that. If I do not like something I will say so, or I will simply not post about it at all.

I never want to be known as someone who lead people astray or influenced people to waste money on rubbish. Not my style and frankly is pisses me off when people do that just to get free things.

If you are looking for honestly welcome . I hope to build a community of like minded people who share positive attitudes , good vibes, great recipes and even better deals and bargains.

I have many varied interests and I have ADHD so I am a ball of semi organized chaos. I will share things that appeal to me and hopefully others will get something out of it too.

I am so happy you are here and I hope I can inspire you in even the smallest of ways.

Remember that we are all going through something , always be kind to yourself and be kind others. It is so much easier to be a good person.
